Viewed as a real estate expert in San Francisco, John's research work and comments are often cited in the San Francisco Chronicle and other local media. John also writes a monthly consumer real estate column published in two local newspapers. His other community work includes performing volunteer services, and serving on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations.
John has lived continuously in San Francisco for over 30 years with the exception of four years at Berkeley where he obtained a B.S. in engineering and two years at UCLA where he earned his MBA in Real Estate and Finance.
